 KNOWING JOB INTERVIEW

1.      Understanding

Interview is one of the stages in the selection of new employees in a company. This is an opportunity for the candidate to show that he is the right person to fill a position in the company.

The best way to get ready for an interview is to take the time to review the most common interview questions you'll most likely be asked, along with examples of the best answers. The company will use a number of things to find out whether the candidate is suitable to be their employee or not.

2.      Question and answer

This question is asked so that the interviewer knows the strengths possessed by the candidate and can be used to support their performance later.

a.       About your self

Try to answer questions about yourself without giving too much, or too little, personal information. You can start by sharing some of your personal interests and experiences that don't relate directly to work, such as a favourite hobby or a brief account of where you grew up, your education, and what motivates you. After that, you can also explain about work experience, internships, volunteers, competitions, and other relevant experiences.

example

Q : Tell me about yourself.

A : My name is Intan Aulia, and I am 25 years old. I graduated from the University of California and I am currently living in Jakarta.  I’ve been on an internship as a social media officer for 5 months. My duties included writing blog posts, publishing digital content on social media, and ensuring the campaign goes well. I have always been interested in social media and new trends, so that’s why I chose to follow this career path. (https://www.english-academy.id/blog/contoh-pertanyaan-interview-bahasa-inggris)

Take time to research the employer before the interview, so you can ask questions about the job and the company.

Saying thank you at the end of the job interview session is the next courtesy to note. Doing this will allow you to leave a good impression on the interviewer. It also shows your appreciation to the interviewer for the achievement of interviewing many job applicants. After saying thank you, don't forget to smile too.
